Heather Repinski, a certified family nurse practitioner, has joined the healthcare staff at Winona Health and will see patients of all ages in the Family Medicine Department on the second floor of Winona Clinic.

Heather completed her clinical practicum in the Family Medicine Department at Winona Health. She is looking forward to becoming a partner in helping people take care of their health, and she has a special interest in helping patients of all ages who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Regarding her choice to join the staff at Winona Health, Heather said, "I was especially impressed with the approach to overall healthcare and the emphasis placed on health promotion in the Family Medicine Department. I'm also amazed at the variety of services available here in Winona and how quickly people can be scheduled for high-tech services such as MRI and CT scans."

A Fountain City, Wis., native, currently living in Cochrane, Heather received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Winona State University in Minn. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Heather was a registered nurse in a variety of settings since 1995. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Nursing Society; American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry; Developmental Disabilities Nursing Association and American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
