Jan Brosnahan recently joined the Winona Health board of directors.
Brosnahan is the Controls Division controller for Watlow, a position she's held since joining the company in 1993. She also has been involved in Watlow's lean transformation, a practice that Winona Health has been incorporating since 2005 in order to increase healthcare value and efficiency.
"I've served on Winona Health's Finance committee for many years," said Brosnahan. "Now I'm looking forward to offering my experience and passion for lean with the Winona Health board of directors and helping Winona Health continue to provide better and better service to our community."
Brosnahan has been a member of the Winona Community since 1989. She joins Winona Health board members: Scott Biesanz; Steve Blue; Scott Birdsall, MD; Matthew Broghammer, DO; Vicki Decker; Gary Evans, board chair; Richard Ferris, MD; Herb Highum; Mark Jacobs; Jim Killian; Hugh Miller; Ken Mogren; Daniel Parker, MD; Rachelle Schultz, president/CEO; Kim Schwab; and Mark Wagner.
The board is responsible for establishing Winona Health's strategic direction, quality and safety and financial oversight and setting organizational policy. These individuals are committed to guiding Winona Health in its mission to improve the health and well-being of the greater Winona area community while remaining a strong and independent, not-for-profit community-owned healthcare system.
