Jeannette Groschel, NP, joins Winona Health medical team
Jeannette Groschel, NP, has joined the Winona Health staff and will serve as a nurse practitioner hospitalist.
Hospitalists specialize in caring for patients while they are hospitalized, providing around-the-clock care and working closely with nursing staff and each patient's primary physician.
"At Winona Health, hospitalists work with care coordination teams made up of nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, respiratory and physical therapists, social workers and other specialty care staff," said Robin Hoeg, Senior Leader, Inpatient Services. "Jeannette is a welcome addition to our team."
"I was drawn to Winona Health because the staff is welcoming and devoted to their patients," said Groschel. "I'm looking forward to using my extensive experience as an ICU nurse along with my nurse practitioner certification in this new role."
Groschel received her master of science in Nursing degree at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., and her bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn.
